SPF Wizard
example.com. IN TXT v=spf1 mx -all
What does this mean?
In this question we are only interested in what we call the root domain name that you use. This means example.com
instead of mail.example.com
or www.example.com
. This is the part of your email address to the right of the @ sign.
To understand what we are asking here you must first know a little detail about the information in the DNS zone (file) that describes your domain. If you are using the IPAD-OS to host DNS for your domain, this information can be found in the DNS section of the IPAD-OS's web manager. If not, you should contact your DNS provider for help.
We need to look specifically at the MX/Mail Exchange record(s).
If your root domain name is assigned to the IPAD, but is not listed in an MX record, answer YES here.
Otherwise answer NO here.
