January, 1990 - Read Carefully.

We have trained our staff to read email backwards and forwards just to filter out the bogus mail. But the mind is more lazy than we think. February, 1990 - Discovering Your True Priorities.

The best test is one that reveals or confirms personal priorities. The things that are really important to you and what you spend your waking hours doing show more about your priorities than any number of words. Knowing what is really important to you is the place where everything else starts.

Showing compassion when things are most difficult allows the true nature of the heart to be reveled. What is in your heart?

 

April, 1990 - Friends, not customers.

It takes nine months to make a baby, regardless of the number of women assigned to the job. Some things just take time, no matter how many people or how much money is pushed at the problem. The most amazing part about how the IFX Group has grown over the past three years is the wonderful people we have met along the way. We have been building friendships rather than customer relationships. And we stand by our friends when they need help. A very big thank you for everyone that helped to make this past year the most amazing yet and here is to many more.

 

May, 1990 - Bulk file trade.

We have just completed our second bulk file trade with a large BBS in Illinois. This brings in a very large number of original pictures that will take us a little more time to correctly categorize. Instead of making you wait, we have opened up a new file area for uncategorized pictures. Keep in mind that some of these pictures are very large and can take a long time to download. We will have descriptions written and the pictures moved into named categories as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

 

June, 1990 - Free Modem Drawing.

The summer season has started and the schools are letting out. We are running a special promotion this month where you can win a new high speed modem to make your downloads go even faster and the online games go even smoother. Sign up for the free drawing in the news area. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries. Only one entry is accepted for each user.

 

July, 1990 - Your LAN Experts.

We have been seeing a large increase in the number of businesses needing local area networking. We specialize in hardware and networking software installation. Please call us whenever you need help, even if we didn't install the original software. We support our customers even before they buy.

September, 1990 - Graphics gallery grows.

New pictures have just been added to our file area. These are only available from the IFX Group. Also check out the new tools and utilities in the tools download area.

 

October, 1990 - Pizza Party.

Please join us for our member pizza party on the third Thursday this month. Professional Data Systems will buy the pizza, you buy your choice of drink. Come meet with all of the other members and put a face to the names you know already.

 

November, 1990 - Even more chatty.

The chat area now has some new features. We have enabled new abilities in our software and now there are some amazing things you can do in chat like creating and using private rooms and even see what other people are doing and invite them to chat.

 

December, 1990 - Saturday night chat party.

Join us starting at 9pm every Saturday night for our chat Saturdays. Every Saturday we invite a few of the most active chatters to log on through our hard wired connections in the Professional Data Systems corporate office. This allows even more members to join these very active and lively chat sessions.
